About Thorpe Island Boats
Thorpe Island Boats offer the best handmade Canadian canoes, kayaks and paddle boards for hire anywhere in the country. Based in Thorpe st Andrew, each paddlecraft is individually made to the highest standards possible, at our boatyard on Thorpe Island – immediately opposite the Rushcutters pub.
Head upstream towards Norwich for a fun and relaxing tour through the city. Nature lovers may want to tour downstream from our start point at Thorpe River Green, with unspoiled countryside and an abundance of wildlife around every corner.
There is something for everyone to appreciate from our selection of handcrafted canoes, kayaks and paddleboards – that are stable, fast and manoeuvrable to the choice of six seat electric boats – brand new in 2024 – to effortlessly enjoy super silent sailing. Whichever boat you choose, we pride ourselves on quality before quantity.
